Weather in Brisbane is less erratic. Slightly like Singapore. Either sunny or rainy, not overtly hot or overtly cold...















Took city cat which is the ferry transport in Brisbane...here is me with cutie pie Sarah...Gladys' cousin. She's really a sweet girl, very nice to talk to and play with =)

Then it was time to end the trip and go home...I'm so glad that I'm studying in Melbourne...I seriously love this place more than anywhere else...haha

Back from Brisbane!

Yes, I'm back from Brisbane. Bought a little gift for myself. Here is Patrick and me. Apart from my blue pillow, he shall join me in my bed for the time being. I aint a plush toy person but just felt that this little star fish looks cute enough to cheer me up and keep my company...

I'm still a tad lazy so will probably upload my photos and blog about the trip next time...

Hot weather, hot temper...

Aint in very good mood lately. Weather been nasty to me and my room is stuffy. Didnt get much sleep last night cos it was just too warm.

Fuck man! Isnt it suppose to be Autumn now...why on earth is it still so warm...It was freaking 39 when we went for the Grand Prix...

I think I should start my dance ritual soon, I hope it'll be so horrendous that the sky will decide to start weeping some tears for me...or like what yk would have said...put myself on the altar for the sacrificial ceremony to pray for some rain...argh...

F1 Grand Prix

Okie, it's only the pre run that I went to...If it's the bike race, I will definitely get the tix to watch the actual race. But too bad, that will only happen in Oct at Philip Island...

Weather has been pretty erratic lately...it can be cold while it's sunny, it can be cold while it's cloudy...it can be scorching hot all the sudden...and all these changes are within a few days or a week...so technically, you can experience summer and autumn plus spring all at one go...just not winter yet cos the temp hasnt dropped to that extend...

nothing much lately...went ikea to get my quilt and quilt cover...cost me quite abit...think this month i may overspent....shit...

anyway next week i'll be heading to Brisbane...yippee!

F1 grand prix tomorrow! Okie lar, I aint that interested in it so am just going for the pre-run...

Heard that Singapore has been raining quite abit...hope the sun will be out soon...dun catch a chill yar...take care...

Colourful night...

Went for the carnival in the city...movie under the stars...it was showing 'Night at the Museum'...it's a lovely night with nice weather and awesome fireworks to complement with...

The place where we sat was right in front of where the fireworks started...It was splendid! Really nice watching it blew up right above my head...red, blue, green, gold, purple colour even...

It's moment like this when I miss my beloved frens the most...ppl whom I love and those who love me and accepted me for who I am...Everytime I managed to catch the fireworks, I often wished that they are by my side, watching it with me...it's a different feeling...catching it alone, catching it with my aussie frens as to having them capture such moments with me...

I'm not saying I dun appreciate having my aussie frens around...I do...

It's just different...somethings are just different...

Outting...

Went Eureka again...this time round we went for the 'Edge' in which it's a glass cubic where you can over see the whole of Melbourne from left, right, top and bottom....It was free for us anyway cos the road trips we took up came along with these free tix...

7 of us, 3 couples with me aka the ultra lamp post...ppl who were afraid of height - amanda and georgia...hehe they didn't quite dare to move within the cube...

Ally's foreahead was actually the wrist band that says 'you have survived the Edge'...initial plan was that all of us will wear ours and show them off while the group photo was taken...in the end...none of us did that except her and hers turned out to look like a cooling pad for fever...haha...

Overall, it was pretty fun I should say....except for the weird shoe covers that we had to put on to prevent us from scratching the glass...

as usual, I haven't quite kicked the habit of lowering myself when taking group photo...I think only gage knows this bad habit of mine...it's been awhile since this surface...hmm....

Aging means....

Having insomnia and sleeping much lesser...Sigh...why arh...where did my hibernating mode go to?

Was looking for new blogskin, I think I kinda lost touch to it...See those samples until my headache came and my eyes crossed...I'll stick to this simple one till I have the energy to look for another nice, exotic one to replace it...

Parents should be back in Singapore by now but can't seem to reach them via phone last night. Dunno where the two loverbirds went to...hmm...

When things go dial-up speed...

I feel like pulling my hair...literally...o not forgetting, pulling my hair and screamed ' Fuuuuuccccck THE DIAL-UP SPEED!!!!' at the top of my voice from my room, with my door opened, so that ALL my housemates can hear me...that is also to make who ever the prick is know I'm pissed....fucking pissed...

Sigh...this is still not the most annoying thing that happened this week...no doubt it deprived me of internet for 3 days!!!

The only male specie in my house currently is slowly getting on my nerve...it's okie he drank and chatted loudly with the friends he invited over...but techno??? he fucking played techno thru the night!!!

And despite 2 housemates asking him to tune it down which he did...I could still hear the fucking 'dumm chiit...dumm chiit...dumm chiit...' coming through those aussie-made-thin-like-shit walls...to the extend my heartbeat synchronized with the 'dumm chiit...dumm chiit...dumm chiit...' tempo till I'm way to restless to sleep...

Seriously lar...techno?? How the hell one dances to it...the only image I had was last time Chen brought us to this club called "Bubbles" where everyone there looked drugged out and zombiefied, the place smelt like puke plus this girl who was then dancing to the music looked like she was electrocuted...

Anyway, I went Grampians with my couple frens...as in Amanda n her bf plus Alison n her bf....I was the biggest light bulb ever...I think I have been promoted to being the lamp post already...not forgetting I've mastered the art of taking alot of self portraits...go facebook...I've uploaded my photos...Great scenery....be sure to tone up ur butts if u wanna go Grampians...cos climbing up and down the steps was quite a killer...

Joke of the day...cringing and screaming after one of the shots taken...cos I noticed my '3 layers of fats' super obvious...kena laughed at by them...I nearly wanna do the 'this is sparta!!!' thingy and kick them off the Grampians!!! haha.....

Another day with weird dreams...

Saturday night....Second night with weird dreams...I got bothered by it and I actually cried over it later in the day after I got up...very silly, I know...but I cant help it...

my only consolation was that Ck appeared in my dream too (it was after the sad portion)...he brought me to a weird but fun place( freaking swimming pool can...but a rather cool one though...haha) to EAT...I rem drinking this fizzy water that was suppose to be beer but didnt quite appear like one or taste like one...

School starts today...I hope no more weird dreams will be appearing...

I had the weirdest dream ever...

I dreamt about auggy, I dreamt about this nice condo like swimming pool and I'm actually swimming with my parents (mommy doesn't even know how to swim!)...dreamt that we bought more bunny suits for ben ben which makes him look even more like a teddy bear...

Either it's the oily eggplant chips that we girls shared at the cafe...or the strong latte...or the hilarious game that we played last nite...or the short stories of Roald Dahl that I read before I sleep...which ended up with me having such dreams...

school will be starting on monday...sigh...pls give me a group to go to for my final paper...pls pls pls...

Finally I was up and about. Went to the city alone for dinner and to grab some instant food so that I won't starve to death at home...

I have yet to unpack my last two boxes of stuffs which mainly consist of kitchen related thingy like culinary, spices, dried food, blah blah...

waiting for ally to come then we can stock up edible food...haha...

being sick while taking the flight is one thing...that i can bear...it's just running nose...

what i couldnt bear was to sit beside chinaman! a young but beefy guy who had bigger boobs than me...and becos he was pretty big size, i'm like fighting for arm rest space with him...and his head kept drooping over to my side when he slept...urgh...

i have to comment this...SQ food is the best...Quantas one sux...i should let my uncle know...SQ food tasted so much better...

Lonesome Lunar New Year...

It didn't quite feel like Chinese New Year to me this year. Partly because my entire family is now in HongKong. I'm alone at home, guarding my house, spending Lunar new year Day 1 eating my mcdelivered food and watching online movie.

Come to think of it, I think that was my only meal of the day...junk food kept me full...eeww...

Anyway...went to join handsome and his family for CJ7 just now. Dun know why but I'm always happy and grateful to be able to join them...be it going to Chinatown together on new year eve night or catching the movie together...I really enjoy their company...and by theirs, I meant handsome, his mom, his bro and sis...and of cos...wan wan...

I apologise for not being able to meet up with all my friends since I came back from HK...certain days I'm busy running errands, certain days I just feel like being alone and do my own stuffs...

Dunno why but this time round I'm not quite ready to go back melbourne yet...i'm not sure why...
